Title: Emerging 2D Artists of Pennsylvania & Maryland (including Washington D.C.)

Sponsor: ArtHouse Lounge

Venue: ArtHouse Lounge – 217 N. 2nd St., Harrisburg, PA 17101

Awards: $500 Best of Show + 2 month exhibition in gallery, Merit & Honorable Mention receive 2 month exhibition in gallery. Press releases sent to top newspapers in PA, MD and D.C. including winners’ hometown paper.

Jurors: Evan Summer, MFA, Yale University

Eligibility: Open call 2D Art exhibition to celebrate the Grand Opening of ArtHouse Lounge located in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Competition open to all 2D artists 17 years of age and older residing in Pennsylvania & Maryland (& D.C.). One (1) piece each from the top finalists will be displayed in the Gallery up to & during Gallery Walk. Best 3 artists win awards. Size limitation: 40 in. including frame. 2D works in the following media will be considered: Paintings in oil, acrylic, watercolor and gouache; Drawings in pencil, pastels, pen & ink; Printmaking & Mixed Media also considered. No Giclee prints.

Fees: $25 for up to 3 entries. $5 each additional Image. 5 images max. Submit JPGs under 1MB each (800 x800 pixels) via online entry.

Commission: 30%
